Gatekeeper Elvin Ayala didn’t look particularly sharp against short-notice replacement opponent Eric Mitchell, but still did plenty enough to win in the Friday Night Fights co-feature with a solid 8-round decision. Ayala had been scheduled to fight a slightly better journeyman in Hector Camacho, Jr.
