He had indicated interest in Golovkin, but the Kazakh’s own trainer recently said his fighter is not ready for that fight. 1) Adonis Stevenson (37-37-37) Last Fight: 11/30/2013- TKO6 #6 Tony Bellew Next Fight: 5/24/2014- vs. #6 Andrzej Fonfara According to Ringtv.com, Stevenson-Fonfara will most likely land on May 24. After that, it looks like the Kovalev fight will happen in late 2014. 2) Bernard Hopkins (76-402-402) Last Fight: 10/26/2013- UD12 Karo Murat (UNR)

The Week Ahead: Friday Michael Seals vs. Lester Gonzalez; Laughlin, Nevada; Off TV Seals is an undefeated Atlanta prospect who hasn’t really beaten much of anyone yet- a faded Byron Mitchell being by far his best win. Gonzalez is a journeyman who unfortunately hasn’t won since 2011. This will be on the FNF card, but as far as I can tell it doesn’t stand a chance to make the televised portion.
